General Terms and Conditions for Rentals
These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all rental bookings made through Philippines Travel Guides and outline the responsibilities and obligations of both renters (“Guests”) and property owners or managers (“Hosts”).
1. Booking and Confirmation
Reservation Process: Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a non-refundable deposit, as specified in the listing.
Information Accuracy: Guests must provide accurate personal information during the booking process.
Communication: All communications regarding the booking should be conducted through the contact details provided on the listing.
2. Payments
Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other methods specified in the listing.
Currency: All transactions are processed in Philippine Peso (PHP).

3. Cancellations and Refunds
Guest-Initiated Cancellations: Cancellation policies vary by listing. Guests should review the specific cancellation terms provided in the listing before booking.
Host-Initiated Cancellations: In the rare event a Host cancels a confirmed booking, Guests will receive a full refund of any payments made.
No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive at the property without prior notice may result in forfeiture of the booking and any payments made.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
Timings: Standard check-in and check-out times are specified in each listing. Guests must adhere to these times unless prior arrangements are made with the Host.
Identification: Guests may be required to present a valid government-issued ID upon check-in.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Property Care: Guests are expected to maintain the property in good condition and are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay.
Occupancy Limits: The number of occupants must not exceed the maximum specified in the listing.
Conduct: Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful manner, adhering to any house rules provided by the Host.
6. Host Responsibilities
Property Condition: Hosts must ensure the property is clean, safe, and as described in the listing at the time of check-in.
Availability: Hosts should be available to address any issues or concerns that arise during the Guest’s stay.
7. Liability
Platform Role: Philippines Travel Guides acts solely as a listing platform and is not a party to the rental agreement between Guests and Hosts.
Disputes: Any disputes arising from the rental agreement must be resolved directly between the Guest and Host.
8. Modifications
Changes to Bookings: Any modifications to a confirmed booking must be agreed upon by both the Guest and Host.
Policy Updates: These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
