Exploring the Wonders of the Philippine Archipelago

Welcome to our Philippine Adventure Diary, born out of our 51-day travel adventure across the archipelago. This collection of diary entries shares firsthand experiences and detailed routes, inspiring you to discover your Philippine dream adventure as we explore the wonders of these islands.

The first two days in the Philippines adventure diary (Day 1-2) were spent touring Metro Manila. Starting the Philippines trip in Manila is ideal as it is the main gateway of the entire archipelago.

On the next two days (Day 3-4) of our Philippine Adventure Travel, we explored Bantayan Island in the Northwestern part of Cebu. Visit Bantayan Island, one of Cebu Province’s top tourist attractions.

We are ready for the next two days (Day 5-6) of our Philippine adventure travel. We set our feet on the beautiful city of Cebu and South Cebu, located in the South-Central Philippines.

The next two days (Day 7-8) were the continuation of our Cebu Island adventure. It was also the start of our exciting journey to the neighboring island of Negros in the Visayas.

The last leg of our Negros Island adventure happened in the (Day 9-11) days of our trip where we also visited the island of Siquijor, which is another island and a separate province.

We were off to begin another escapade to the ravishing island of Guimaras for two days (Day 12-14). Guimaras is an island province located in the Western Visayas area.

We are ready to explore Gigantes Island for another 3 days (Day 15-17). Also known as the Islas de Gigantes or the islands of the giants.

We were scheduled to go back to Manila and spend 3 days (Day 18-20) processing our Philippine Visa extension, so that we can stay a little longer in the country.

Our 3-day island experience on this stunning haven gave us enough reasons to head towards the Northernmost tip of Palawan and get mesmerized with El Nido for another 2 days (Day 24-25).

Day 26-27) is the resumption of our Philippine adventure in Palawan, where we went on a motorbike adventure in El Nido and an island hopping tour in the beautiful and scenic Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa.

As a kick start to this 2-day adventure trip (Day 28-29), we traveled back to Manila in the island of Luzon to get everything we needed for our stop over in Baguio City, the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

It was Day 30-31 of our Philippine adventure trip, we were all excited to have a glimpse of Sagada, Mountain Province in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

We spent 2 days (Day 32-33) roaming around Buscalan in the province of Kalinga, Cordillera Administrative Region. Buscalan is a small remote barangay in the Kalinga highlands.

Today (Day 34), we were up for another thrilling adventure in the world-famous Batad Rice Terraces in the mountains of Banaue, Ifugao in Cordillera Administrative Region (Philippines).

For the next 2 days (Day 35-36), we toured around Pangasinan in the northern part of the country. For this trip, we unraveled the beauty of the province

For this 2-day (Day 37-38) journey, we went out to see the unspoiled beauty of the Hundred Islands, Alaminos, Pangasinan in the region of Ilocos. The first stop was Hundred Islands National Park.

For this 2-day (Day 40-41) Philippine adventure to Eastern Visayas, we explored the best of Leyte and its fascinating islands. Leyte’s rolling grasslands and thriving bodies of water.

For Days 48-50 of our Philippine adventure, we were invited by Gerry to his resort in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region. Gerry is a good friend of Mike, the founder of Paitan East Orphanage.
